Why Me?
I’m a creative founder.
Over the past 8 years, I’ve built and operated businesses across the U.S. and Mexico — and I’ve learned firsthand that creativity alone isn’t enough.
At one point, I was told:
“You have a hobby, not a business.”
“You’re not focused enough on sales.”
Those words stung — and they were exactly what I needed.
I had vision, values, and strong products. But I hadn’t fully stepped into the role of CEO.
Since then, I’ve negotiated wholesale partnerships, navigated cash flow pressure, led investor conversations, and built operational structure around creative vision. I’ve learned that if we don’t become effective operators, our impact stays small.
Today, I’m the founder of Macavuana, a values-driven footwear brand built with artisan partners in Oaxaca. In 2025, I secured a deal with three investors on Shark Tank México.
But what matters most is this:
